There must be a well stated reason(s). Remember that the reason for taking up a job should be more than money because the motivations from money are usually short-lived.
The job you took should be primarily a means to express yourself and your God given talents. In doing this satisfactorily brings in the money.
This is why you find out that a new employee who is driven primarily by money will begin after few months on the job to grow apathy towards the job which used to give him excitement in time past.
When the excitement due to money is gone, purpose is what you have left. When remunerations are poor, something higher should keep you going which should be your overriding life purpose. At the end of life, when you look back, what would you be glad you are able to accomplish? If you don’t have a compelling reason, you cannot fix yourself to the exercise of getting on with the challenges of a job.
Job without a strong overriding purpose will grind one down. To make money the reason is to be easily corrupted on the job.
