Yesterday is gone, today is a new day. Rise up to the moment. The failures of yesterday should not create a grave for your tomorrow. Take your failures of the past as the cocoon that will give birth to the beautiful butterfly of tomorrow.
There is a season we seem not be on high motion, yes. But that should not stop our growth. Like the butterfly in the cocoon. Though it is imprisoned, yet it continues to grow.
Yes we all remember our beautiful butterfly, the beautiful butterfly. It is not always so beautiful. There was a time it was caged in a thick subcutaneous layer where the young creature is immovable. It lives its life in an enclosed case. Yet it keeps growing until a new season emerge and it cast off the cocoon and fly out to embrace a new season of freedom; then light comes.
Today is a new day. Don’t allow yesterday’s failure to keep you down. What you see is what you become. Stop seeing unending spate of poverty, failure and lack-lustre life. Change the vision and change the beat. Stop dancing to the music of limitations and drawbacks. Declare only what God says and dance only to the rhythm within your soul.
Life has seasons, it will not always be a dark night, the light will come after the darkness, the flood will not last for a lifetime and the drought will give way to the raining season. Singing will come after mourning and laughter after a time of pain. The evil days will not pervade eternally for a child of God who walks in his faith. Be opened to a new day.
Make everyday a new day of hope.
